Ingredients for making creamy corn cake with cheese:

 5 threshed ears of corn or 1 can of green corn

 2 american cups of milk

 2 cups of sugar (320 grams)

 1 cup of wheat flour (140 grams)

 1 cup grated cheese

 3 eggs

 1½ tablespoons of butter or margarine

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

 1 pinch of salt

How to make creamy corn cake with cheese:

Beat the corn, milk, eggs and butter or margarine in a blender until you get a smooth mixture.

Tip: If you are using a can of green corn, don't forget to drain the corn before putting it in a blender.

Also place the dry ingredients (sugar, flour, cheese, yeast and salt) in a blender and mix again until well blended.

Tip: If you prefer, you can mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, add the blender mixture to them and blend by hand or with an electric mixer. Salt helps to accentuate the flavors of this dumpling.

Place the cheesecake mixture in a greased and floured pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 50 minutes or until golden - to check the cake's point, use the toothpick test.
